May is the month of Mary

May is the month of Mary.

We have been learning about Mary, the mother of  Jesus. We have been praying to Mary and singing special songs.

We have been preparing the Prayer garden in the Foundation Stage courtyard in honour of Mary.

First we cleared away lots of weeds and then added new soil. 

Then we all made a flower for Mary to decorate the special Prayer garden.

We would like to invite everyone in Foundation Stage to bring in a flowering plant (not seeds or cut flowers) to plant in the Prayer garden.

If you would like to, please can you bring in your plant on Monday morning and then we can plant them the Prayer Garden.
