We had a delicious lunch and have been very busy this afternoon!

Sayers Croft was used during World War II as a place for London children to be evacuated to. We took part in the World War II trail where we found out what all the different buildings and areas were used as during the war. There was even an air raid shelter and we got to go in to imagine what it would have been like.

We then practised our map work skills by reading a map and going around a maze to find a secret message. Then our team building skills were put to the test in the blindfold maze where we really had to trust each other to lead us round the trail.

To end our afternoon we had to do some orienteering around the whole of the Sayers Croft site.

After all our activities, we’re having a bit of free time and then we’re off to dinner now! We’ll update you later!
