Today Year 5 welcomed Year 1 into their classroom to participate in a shared child-led worship session. We all sat in two beautiful circles and the session was run by the older students. It was a special time to worship God with our partner classes this morning.
We gathered together to hear the word of God from Isiah 11:1-5, which was around the theme of Advent. We sat holding hands and sung the song Alleluia while thinking about the words of the Gospel. Our mission was to think about God and pray to him in your own time sometime this week.
Year 1 looks forward to visiting Year 5 again soon!
I like to do paired worship and learn how to be like Jesus.
Paired worship with y1 and y5 looked really fun.It teaches us how to follow the footprints of God and to do the right thing.
