This week in our Physical Development session, we practised aiming and shooting at a target.

We practised this skill through three different physical activities:
-Throwing the hoops on to the cone
-Throwing the beanbags into the hoop
-Rolling the ball to hit the cone

We talked about what the word ‘aim’ and ‘target’ means and we each worked with a partner to see how many points we could score. To help us aim, we pointed our hand to the target to help us as we had a go at each activity.

Well done Reception, you were able to follow lots of instructions and showed improved aiming skills!

  1. Today was so much fun. My aim got better and I am able to target different points. Also loved to work in a team. I can’t wait to have my family on the sports day.
