In English, we have been looking at words that rhyme and we have also been learning rhymes by heart!
Some of the rhymes we have been looking at are: Pussycat, Pussycat, Two Little Dicky Birds and Sugarcake Bubble.
We have also been retelling stories with predictable phrasing such as : The Gingerbread Man and Owl Babies.
Performing our poems to the whole class has really helped us to be more confident in front of an audience… in time for our assembly too!
