Today, Year 2 had a very special visit from Lisa, Jill and Nina from the NSPCC as part of their ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ campaign.
The children took part in an engaging workshop where they thought about the different feelings we might experience, how to recognise when something doesn’t feel right and who we can talk to if we need help. We discussed the importance of using our voices, sharing our worries and knowing that there are trusted adults who are there to support us.
The children also learned about Childline and how it is a safe place where children can talk to someone and get advice whenever they need it.
Thank you so much to Lisa, Jill and Nina for spending time with us and helping Year 2 understand how we can look after ourselves and others. We loved learning more about how to stay safe and feel confident speaking out.
