This week, St Vincent’s took part in an athletics competition, a central borough competition, involving 16 other schools – not only from Westminster, but also from Wandsworth, Islington and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The competition, taking place at Paddington Recreation Ground, was Quad Kids, which meant all pupils took part in four events: standing long jump, 75m Sprint, 600m and vertex howler throw. It was the hottest day of the year so far, making the events significantly tougher and every member of our team did us proud!

Well done St Vincent’s, you all did fantastic and you should be very proud of yourselves for your achievements!

  5. Well done year 5!

  6. I had so much fun doing the athletics. Even though year 6 didn’t come I think we did awesome without them. I am so proud of me and my fellow peers.

  7. It was such a good experience doing quad kids athletics! My favourite race was 200 meters. I was very impressed of what place I got (4 out of 9). It was a very long race (trust me).
