This morning, we welcomed many Reception parents into class to celebrate our learning. It was wonderful to show our grown ups our writing books and how our writing has improved!
We enjoyed constructing 3D jungle animals using rolls, paper, pipe cleaners and googly eyes!
We developed our map skills by locating different jungle animals on our giant class world map. We drew and coloured our own jungle animal and added them to the map.
It was lovely to show our parents around our classroom and share all of our learning about the jungle!

I was very excited to show my my mother my work books. It has been a milestone and we done it together with teacher’s support I am more confident to write.
She was so proud of my work and I get to show her around my favourite bits of my classroom.
I loved when my parent came in. I liked showing her my workbook and I also liked showing her a few of my favorite things in the classroom. Charlie liked the dinosaurs and he was scaring a bit my class in the sandpit.
