It has been so wonderful to welcome Class 5 back to school!
You have all worked SO hard this week and shown great resilience and dedication to your learning.

I am so proud of you and I hope you keep up this hard work next week!

In Class 5 we have been looking at The Temptation of Jesus in the Desert (Luke 4: 1-12) as part of our Religious Education this week.
We looked at Scripture and discussed what happened to Jesus in the desert and how he responded.

We then looked at various paintings showing different parts of the story from Luke 4: 1-12.
We discussed in detail which part of the story each of these paintings were showing, making links to what we had read from the Scripture.

After that we made our own paintings showing The Temptation of Jesus in the Desert.
We then wrote about which part of the story our painting represents and how.

Please have a look at our wonderful religious artwork below…

We also enjoyed our first Child-Led Worship session since returning to school with year 1!

It was lovely to see everyone back at school, have a lovely weekend!
Miss Lee 🙂
