In our Religious Education lesson this week, we learnt all about Easter Sunday.

First of all we recapped on the events of Good Friday and remembered that Jesus died on the cross because He loves us.

We then listened to the important events that happened after Good Friday. Jesus’ body was put in a tomb. A big stone was rolled in front of the tomb. On the third day the stone was rolled away. Jesus had risen from the dead, He was alive!

We spent some time talking about what happened after Jesus died on the cross. We used key vocabulary to talk about the events.

We made our own art collage to show how Jesus had risen.

We then sequenced the story using three pictures and had a good try at writing a sentence to describe each event.

Well done for all of your hard work Reception!

We hope you all have a lovely Easter break!
