As part of this terms Science Topic: Classification of Living Organisms, Yr 6 had to create their own branching system focusing on leaves.
Building on previous work and their understanding of how and why we classify organisms, this activity required that they make careful and accurate observations and use appropriate science vocabulary to sort and group the leaves to make and then use a branching key.
Karl Linnaeus would be proud of them!
