The government is cutting VAT from 20% to 5% on family days out — from cinema and theatre tickets to attractions, and children’s meals out. Less to pay, more summer to enjoy.
There are lots of places offering great food deals for children. Children can eat for free or for £1!
FREE SUMMER ACTIVITIES AND FREE HEALTHY FOOD FOR CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE This Summer there are over 70 organisations across Westminster and Kensington & Chelsea offering free activities and free, healthy meals to children and young people aged 4-16 years, who are in receipt of benefits-related Free School Meals. Activities are available for an average of 4 hours per day and include sports camps, music, dance, arts & crafts, adventure play, youth clubs, offsite trips and activities for those with special educational needs and disabilities.
