Today we were pleased to welcome Stephen Booth and Owen grey who came to our assembly to introduce the Summer Reading Challenge 2025: Story Garden.
Over the summer the Libraries Team will be organising and hosting a great many events throughout libraries based on this theme.
The challenge will, as always, be to read six books throughout the summer holidays helping children realise or bolster their joy of reading.
Please visit your local library for the Summer Reading Challenge (SRC) Soft Launch if you would like to join up to the scheme a little earlier. This is in addition to the summer long events schedule, the film screening which each completer will get the chance to attend at the end and SRC visits to school assemblies.
At St. Vincent’s we love reading so we hope many of our pupils will take up this challenge.
