Our Science topic for this term is all about materials. We’ve looked at lots of different materials in class and tried to describe their different properties.
We’ve had to learn some new vocabulary to help us do this. We now know that dull is the opposite of shiny, that flexible means bendy and how materials can be described as warm or cold.
Now that we knew the properties of different materials, today we had to try and find them! We went onto the roof and tried to find as many different materials as we could.
We found plastic, metal, sand, pottery, brick and wood. Can you spot them in our pictures?
