Year 2 have had such a wonderfully festive day today!

We are so thankful to the St Vincent’s Parents Association that organised and provided such a fun morning for us all. We started our day by decorating our own Christmas ornaments. We made reindeers and snowmen that are perfect for any tree! Later, we were surprised by a visit from Father Christmas! We sang Jingle Bells and were even given our own Christmassy headbands to wear throughout the day.

In class, we had some delicious waffles with a different choice of toppings and we also listened to some classic Christmas songs. We played some games and won prizes and had the chance to decorate our own biscuits. We had eaten so much yummy food that we could barely believe it was lunchtime so soon! Thank you again to the SVPA for all of the fantastic activities that you organised for us. We have absolutely loved it.

This afternoon, we went down to the Creativity Room and we learnt all about primary and secondary colours. We used our understanding of painting and mixing to make our own colour wheels, which showed the relationship between these colours. We were really sensible and worked  hard, which made our teacher really proud.

Well done for this week, Year 2. Keep up the great work!
