This week, we have learnt about the Eucharistic Prayer. We have learnt that the word Eucharist means thanksgiving, which has led us to consider what we are thankful for. We are thankful for many things, from our families and friends to the Earth that God created. We want to praise and thank God for all that he has done for us, and we can do this through prayer. To show our praise and thanks to God, we have considered what the words of the Eucharistic Prayer mean to us. The children have worked in groups to create and perform their own version of the prayer, using actions and movements which are represented within the words.
Well done for a fantastic week, Year 2. You have been working so hard and I am so proud of all that you have achieved. Keep up the great work!
