In our English lessons, we’ve been reading the story called The First Drawing by Mordicai Gerstein.
We looked at the part where the Stone Age boy sees pictures in the fire of lots animals but no one else can. We used freeze frames to imagine what the different characters would be thinking or feeling and then used speech bubbles to write them around the picture. We could even write speech for specific characters because the grandad would say something different to the little brother!
