What a day!

We have had such a busy day today with so many brilliant activities!

To start the day, we had to work in partners to complete a blindfold challenge and find our way around a maze. We then learnt lots about World War II and visited a real air raid shelter and Anderson shelter, as well as handling some artefacts including tying on gas masks and uniform.

After our tasty lunch, we did some new activities! We learnt how to throw axes and use a bow and arrow. It was very fun and we were slightly concerned with how good everyone was!

We were lucky to have a second swimming session which was very needed in this heat! After all these activities we devoured our dinner and headed to the tuck shop before opening our letters from home. It was lovely to hear from our families and we enjoyed writing letters back to them that we will post in the morning.

After such a busy day, we all need a big sleep so that we’re ready for even more activities tomorrow! Good night!
