This week, we have been looking at some paintings by Wassily Kandinsky, a painter who was born in Russia in 1866.
We focused on one of his paintings called ‘Squares with Concentric Circles.’ We talked about the colourful circle shapes Kandinsky made using different colours of paint.

After exploring this painting, we used a variety of paint to make our own piece in the style of Kandinsky. We formed lots of circles using different paint and talked about the colours we made when they mixed together.

Have a look at our wonderful pieces of Art!
