It was an early start for all of us after the summer holidays, but we were all so excited that we didn’t mind. We said our goodbyes to our parents and jumped on the coach to Sayers Croft!
After what felt like a long journey (it was only an hour and a half!) we were very excited to see the Sayers Croft sign!
We’ve had a busy few hours already. We successfully completed the first challenge which was making our beds. But it was tiring work so we were pleased to go for our first delicious Sayers Croft meal of jacket potatoes.
After lunch, we headed up for the maze and blindfold trail. This involved us working with our partners and guiding them around the trail. Some of us were better at giving instructions than others though! We then completed the maze challenge and collected all the map symbols before following the instructions to add them to the map.
It is so hot and sunny! We’ve been very careful with putting on lots of sun cream and drinking water, but we’re most excited about jumping into the swimming pool now!
We’ll send another update later after our swim, dinner and night walk!
