This week Year 3 had the priveledge of visiting Lambeth Palace for the Wintershall Traveling Advent Crib. This workshop gave us the opportunity to dig deeper into the Christmas story. We met Mary as she got ready for her baby, a shepherd left to look after his sheep, a donkey travelling for the census, a wise man preparing for the journey and Elizabeth who had a message from the angel.
We were so excited as we were given a pilgrim bag for our journey. We gathered an item from each person that we met along the way. We really appreciated how interactive this event was, as we were able to talk with each actor portraying a person from Advent. We learned so much and had such a lovely time. Thank you so much to the SVPA for funding this trip!
