In Class 5 we have been enjoying our virtual World Book Day!
Reading is a great opportunity to help our imaginations grow, our vocabulary broaden and to allow us to escape to exciting new places!

As you all know, this year our school book for World Book Day is The Day the Crayons Quit and our class colour was… YELLOW! It was great to see so much yellow on our class call and also so many other creative costumes…

We have enjoyed some fun tasks this morning, including writing reasons why other household objects might want to quit for the day. We wrote fabulous (and funny) signs for these various objects using emotive language and conjunctions…

Well done to everyone for sending in such wonderful work!
Later today we will enjoy some music along with some fun reading games including The Masked Reader!

I hope you are enjoying your day Class 5! 🙂
