We have been working on our writing in Reception and we are really proud of our work!
During our daily Phonics lessons we are learning Phase 2 phonemes. We have also been practising writing the graphemes. So far we have learnt: s a t p i n m.
Our class book is ‘We are Going on a Bear Hunt.’ In our writing lesson this week, we recognised lots of things in the story that began with the sounds s a t p.
We learnt some important rules about how we write and understand we need to sit at the table correctly, hold our pencil carefully and take our time to form each letter in the correct way.
We have been working so hard! Have a look at our lovely work!
Some of us even had a go at our writing challenge in class and did lots of independent writing!
