Writing in Year 3!

In our writing this week, Year 3 have been creating their own fact files all about India. These are based around the setting of our class text The Cloud Tea Monkeys. Year 3 gathered their research and then used structural features of a report such as headings and photos to organise their writing.

We have learnt lots of facts about tea plantations in India as well as other facts about animals and information about the geography of the country. We tried to include technical vocabulary as well as a range of prepositions and conjunctions to extend our writing!
