Today, nine girls from Years 3 and 4 represented St. Vincent’s at the Westminster Girls’ Year 3&4 Football Festival. Well that’s what we thought was going to happen. Unfortunately at the last minute, the festival was postponed.
However all was not lost, as amongst some of the other schools, we organised to take part and play in some friendly matches to test our football skills and work on our teamwork! We played 3 friendly matches which were 10 mins long each and rotated positions so that everyone got to play.
All of the girls played in a sporting manner and were a great representation of the school.
Although the team were disappointed that they didn’t get the chance to take part in the festival, they still played with a smile on their face and scored lots of goals.

It was so lovely to see the great team work showed by all. You reacted so well to the disappointing news of the festival being cancelled. You played great in the mini games and shared the opportunities so everyone had time on the pitch. It was lovely to spend time with you all.
It was the most fun experience ever and we won all of the matches. It was so fun.
