Yesterday, twenty representatives from Years 5 & 6 participated in the Westminster Sports hall Athletics Competition. There were many events including: relays, obstacle courses, javelin, long jump and speed bounce.
It was great fun and the children represented St. Vincent’s superbly by demonstrating brilliant sportsmanship.
We already knew that we had come 3rd out of the seven schools participating in the morning heats.
We have just found out that we came 3rd out of all twelve schools taking part in all of the heats.
Well done to a fantastic team for a fantastic performance!
Well done! Y6 and Y5. I wish I was there! In those pictures it looks like you were having a lot of fun! I can’t wait when I’m in Y6 and Y5.
I really enjoyed the athletic tournament as it was really fun and competitive. I can’t wait to do more tournaments and we came third out of seven schools so well done to everyone who went to the athletics tournament.
