Yesterday St Vincent’s competed in a Sportshall Athletics tournament against other schools across Westminster. A team comprised of Year 5 and 6 pupils competed against 9 other schools in a range of events including relay races, obstacles races, over/under races, standing long jump, standing triple jump, vertical jump, chest push, soft javelin and speed bounce.

Scores were allocated for each team according to their performances in each event and we can proudly announce that we finished 5th out of ten schools. Everyone had between 2 and 4 events to compete in and we’re very proud of everyone’s performances. Congratulations to the winning team, St Joseph’s Primary School, and we would like to thank the organisers and helpers from Paddington Academy for a wonderful experience! Well done Team St Vincent’s!
