This morning Year 5 performed their brilliant assembly all about ‘Ancient Greece’.
We had a bit of a ‘Night at the Museum’ adventure as the poor security guard found that all the artefacts had come to life and taught us all about life in Ancient Greece. We heard from lots of different gods and goddesses, learnt the differences between Athens and Sparta, and considered all the philosophy, medicine, sport and art they created as well. Finally we heard all about the wonderful things that Ancient Greece invented and many of them we still have today. There was excellent acting, singing and many jokes!
