This term, our new topic is ancient Egypt!

Ancient Egypt is one of the most fascinating periods in the ancient world. It’s history features ancient tombs, dazzling temples and fascinating rulers and had been the focus of many archaeologists for thousands of years. 

This half term’s homework features some creative tasks which will help you to discover more about the incredible world of ancient Egypt alongside out lessons.

In the mean time, to prepare us for some of the key things we will be exploring in this topic, please answer the questions in the comments:

1.   Who were the Pharaohs and why were they special in ancient Egypt?
2.   Why was the river Nile so important to the ancient Egyptians?
3.   What are some of the magnificent things that the ancient Egyptians built?
 
I am really excited to discover more about the pharaohs, artefacts, myths, gods and goddesses and all of the wonderful and gory parts of the ancient Egyptian civilisation!
