Today we are going to practise using capital letters, full stops and exclamation marks.

We use capital letters at the start of our sentence.

We out a full stop at the end of the sentence to show that the sentence has finished.

Sometimes we use an exclamation mark (!). We use this if we are surprised, excited or shocked by something. For example,

It is my birthday today! or I can’t believe we are going to Legoland!
