Good morning Year 1! I was very pleased to see so many of you write lots yesterday!
Today you will finish your writing if you haven’t already done so. You can take a picture of your writing, or type it into the box (if your fingers don’t get too tired)!
A reminder of your writing task:

You can look back at yesterday’s blog if you need some help on what to include!

I have started placing pictures of your writing in a gallery which you will be able to see – thank you to all of you who have sent photos in so far.
If you have finished your writing, think about these things and remember to read back your work!
1. Have I read back my sentences to check that they make sense?
2. Have I used capital letters and full stops?
3. Have I used my sounds?
Well done everyone for another brilliant week of learning! Have a lovely rest and ready to learn again on Monday.

  1. Dear Miss Travers,
I have revised my work from Monday to today.
    Have a good weekend
    Best wishes,

  2. Miss Travers says:

    Well done Harry!

  3. I’m going to tell you how FIFA’s game works.
First, you pick up a team and you try to get the ball off the other players.
Then, you try to score while all players are coming to you.
After, you can switch the team to score easily.
Finally, the game end and you know if you have won or not.
Remember you can,t slide tackles otherwise the referee will give you a yellow card as a warning or a red card and send you off.

  4. Miss Travers says:

Brilliant work Junior! You have used bossy verbs and lots of punctuation!

  5. Tag

To play tag you need some friends.
Then you need to choose who is going to be ‘it’.
After that everyone runs around trying not to get caught. Finally, if you get caught you are ‘it’ and have to catch someone else.

  6. Miss Travers says:

Great writing, Aiden! Your handwriting also looks very neat!

  7. Isabella says:

I have revised my English work and today I am also looking a different types of nouns and adjectives also on bitesize. I am also doing games on busy things.

  8. Miss Travers says:

  9. Isabella says:

  10. Isabella says:

    Thank you Miss Travers.

  11. Hello Miss Travers,

    Duck, Duck, Goose-

First, everyone sits in a big circle and one person has to tap one other person.
Then, the person that taps you, has to say duck, duck, goose.
After, the person that was tapped has to run around the circle chasing the person who tapped you.
Finally, if the person gets caught, it is their turn to tap.
Remeber you need to run very fast and not get caught.
Remeber you can’t tap more than one person.

  12. Miss Travers says:

Super work Jay! I like that you have used bossy verbs and punctuation correctly!

  13. Hide and Seek

    1. First someone counts to 20.
    2. Then the other people hide.
    3. Next the counter needs to find the other people hiding.
    4. Finally the first person found then has to count on the next go.

  14. Miss Travers says:

Well done Daisy! Your instructions are very clear!

  15. Hello Miss Travers

I rewrite my homework as I done some mistakes and my mother told me to do a neater handwriting.

    Octonauts game on iPad.

First you will need to do some type driving. Then there is some activities to chose. Type on it! After that you can go to another activity when you are bored with it. Swipe with your finger to direct the octopod.
    Finally Have fun!
    Remember to follow activity rules!
Remember to not mess up the game.
