  3. Isabella says:

    Good Morning Miss Travers

    30+7 = 37
    30+1=31
    20+5+2=27
    20+20=40

    Sweets in the bag.

    10×2 = 20
    10×3 =30
    10×5=50
    10×8=80
    10×10=100
    20×10 =200

I counted the numbers in the number square and I found the 2,5 and 10 times tables. I could find different number patterns.

  4. Miss Travers says:

    Well done Isabella!

  5. I did well in my MNP today and I am confident counting with my 10x tables!

    Challenge:
    1. 20
    2. 30
    3. 50
    4. 80
    5. 100
    6. ? x 10 = number of sweets

I coloured the 2s, 5s, and 10s in different colours and saw that all 10x tables are also in the 2 and 5x tables.

  6. Miss Travers says:

    Well done!

  11. Good Morning Miss Travers, I found some of them easy but not all of them , page 4 confusing 10s and 1s. The challenge tried to use the number square but still problematic.

  12. Miss Travers says:

Hello Jacob, well done for giving it a go! Some bits of it are tricky!
I’ve put up some extra support on the blog page (underneath the challenge) to help with page 4.
When looking for patterns – remember when counting in 2s you just skip a number each time.
    2, 4, 6, 8, 10 – we have missed out a numbers 1,3,5,7,9

Counting in 5s – remember the number always ends with a 0 or a 5.
Counting in 10s – the number always ends with a 0.
Have a look at the number square and see if you can see this patterns.
Let me know if this helps or you need more help!
