Today we are continuing our learning of money. A few of you found learning about the different notes tricky yesterday so I will go over this again.

    I have emailed my Maths No Problem 1B pages 125,126 and 154.

    Maths Challenge.

    4p+ 4p = 8p for the wheels.
    7p + 3p = 10p for the bus.
    14p-5p = 9p for John.
    5px 10p = 50p for the train journey.
    60p-49p = 11p for the petrol.

    I already did my MNP worksheets for today. My mum will send you the photo.

    challenges:
    1. 4p + 4p = 8p to pay for the 2 wheels
    2. 7p + 3p = 10 p cost of the ticket
    3. 14p – 5p = 9p left for John
    4. 5 x 10p = 50p they have to pay for the 5 tickets
    5. 60p – 49p = 11p Mary needs 11p more to pay for the petrol ⛽️

  6. I did well on my worksheets today! I got a little confused with p/£ but I’m getting the hang of it.

    I think I am getting the hang of notes and coins, I would like to do some more tomorrow. The empty , ,full and half was easy.

    The challenge was helped by using the number square, so my answers are

    1. 4p+4p=8p
    2. 7p + 3p=10p
    3. 14p-5p=9p
    4. 10p+10p+10p+10p+10p=50p
    5.60p-49p=11p

    My maths no problem books finally got delivered, it took a very long time and I’m enjoying doing the work in them rather than my homework book!

    I’ve finishes the Maths No problem!

    Challenges:

    4. 10p+10p+10p=10p+10p=50p
    5. That problem I counted how much was missing from 49p to 60p. It was 11p.

    P.S: Did you received my photo about Maths yesterday? Just in case I will send again ?

    It was quite tricky for me but with help of mu mum I done it. My mother give me the money I she made ticket for me to buy.

    the 2 wheels cost all together is 8p. 4+4
    the bus tickets cost 10p. 7+3=10
    john has 9p left from the plane. 14-5=9
    the train tickets cost 50p. 10+10+10+10+10
    i will need 11p for the petrol. 49+11 or 60-49

    i have sent you my work. it is more easy having the books
