Modal verbs are used to change the meaning of other verbs.
They can express meanings such as certainty, ability, or obligation.
The main modal verbs are:
will, would, can, could, may, might, shall, should, must and ought.

Can you write a few sentences including some of these modal verbs?

    Here are my sentences:

    1* If I am motivated , I can read a book , of one hundred to two hundred pages , in two days .

    2* We must follow Jesus foot- steps .

    3* I shall go to my grand parents ‘s house for summer holidays .

  7. 1] Please can you go down stairs to put the laundry on the drying rack.

    2] I think that we should go to eat Chinese food early because then we will get a table quickly and we don’t have to stay in a que for an hour if we come late.

    3] You may play roblox as long as you finish all of todays homework fast.

    Thanks Marco. There’s a very important punctuation mark missing at the end of the first sentence! Also could you please find the correct spelling for ‘que’? It has a really funny spelling! Also names of things (including games) should have a capital letter. Could you correct your sentences and repost please?

    For today’s task I used all of the words and put them into sentences.

    1. You will go to Ellen’s birthday on Sunday.

    2. You should always act like angles.

    3. I would have gone to Serbia and Slovenia ,but now my travel plans are being postponed.

    4. You could break your Lenten Promise, but I must not as I have gone through 33 days without breaking it.

    5. You can go to Lilly’s house, and you may stay from a sleepover.

    6. I might have spaghetti for my lunch today.

    7. I ought to call my friends.

    8. I shall finish the book that I am reading.

    *Tonight, we might watch a film called born free.
    *We must clean the house at some point.
    *James ought to talk to his grandparents, on Tuesday.
    *Charlotte will finish her homework when she gets a chance.
    *I could go to the park or i could go to the trampolining park.

    I hope your day has been fantastic so far.
    For today’s daily SPAG task I have come up with these sentences.
    1* I think we ought to get your eyes checked if you can’t see well.
    2* We will have a fantastic time at Maddison’s party ? it will be so much fun!
    3* You must listen to me Elizabeth you are acting like a ferocious dinosaur ?.
    4* We might be going to a 5 star water park it will be so fun.

    I finished to read “Dork Diary” and I also finished the other book I took : “Saxby Smart”. I enjoyed this book a lot because it was a detective story with suspense! My mum sent a picture of me with my book to Miss Lynch. Please have look!
    Now, I am reading “The Explorer” .
