Good morning Class 1!

How are you all today?
There are some new spellings for you to learn today…

Don’t forget to also practise your handwriting today too:

You may have noticed that some of the spellings are the same, just with the suffix ‘s’ or ‘es’ on the end.
A suffix is a group of letters or just a letter which goes on the end of the word and changes its meaning slightly.

    I did the spelling in pencil and my watercolours, we will send a picture.

    On bitesize exercises i made some new words
    Wonderful, sadness, sadly, brightness, slowly , painful, quickly, quickness, weakness, .

    I made these sentences

    I played a game with my friends earlier.
    I went paying earlier because it was sunny.
    Last night I danced to a new song.
    My family moved house last week.

    Make sure that you read back your sentences to check that you haven’t missed out any words-
    My sister wishes that she could have a puppy.
    I can think of a sentence.
