Good morning Year 1!

It’s Miss Lee here! As Miss Travers is teaching at school I will be taking over the Year 1 blogs for now. But don’t worry, Miss Travers will be looking at them each day to see all of your fantastic work and I will be keeping her updated with all of your hard work too! At school on Monday Miss Travers and I worked together to plan your blog activities so that they match what Year 1 are doing in school as closely as possible.

Miss Travers tells me you have been working really well on the blogs and I am excited to see your work! If you are sending work in to be posted onto the blogs remember to send it to me from now on so that I can upload it for you. 🙂

Today we will be looking at spellings and handwriting…

When practising your handwriting, try to make the letters the same size and sit them on the line.
Here are your spellings:

If you would like some handwriting paper (just like the paper in your handwriting books at school), please click here: Handwriting Paper

Challenge…

Can you put the spelling words into some super sentences? For example:
I would love to sail around the world.

I look forward to seeing your beautiful writing!
From Miss Lee
