  1. To Mrs Avdiu
I am about to read Little Women by Louisa May Alcott and I will tell you more about the book in a few days.

  2. Mrs Avdiu says:

Can’t wait to hear all about it!

  3. Ms Robertson says:

    Hi Mathilde
I hope you are well – I’m looking forward to hearing about Little Women by Louisa Alcott. I haven’t read this book, but know it’s very famous.

  4. Theo Hayes says:

Hi this is Theo. I have been reading Swallows and Amazons by Arthur Ransome. The genre is adventure and there are lots of battles between the islanders and the Swallows. It is about four children going camping on an island and they make friends with the fierce Amazon pirates Nancy and Peggy.Together they have a summer of battles, alliances, exploration and discovery.I would recommend this book to others because I think it is a very exciting book and there is always something going on.This book makes me feel keen to find out more because it is very exciting and I am interested to see how the story develops.I hope you are all well and having a good time.?⚽️

  5. Mrs Avdiu says:

Wow! It sounds fantastic. Do let us know how you find the ending.

  6. The book that I have been reading is Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian by Rick Riordan .The genre of the book is adventure, this book makes me feel like we can all do our part in saving little bits of the world. This book also makes me think that we are all united and we are all a great large family and team. I would recommend this book to other people because it is all about how Percy Jackson fights monsters but he fights them with he friends. There is also a camp called camp half blood were they keep all the gods children safe.
Percy Jackson is also the son of Poseidon (Poseidon is a Greek god and he is the ruler of the sea). I predict that Percy Jackson will succeed in fighting the dangerous and nasty monsters with his friends and save this planet one and for all.

  7. Mrs Avdiu says:

I love that book, Elena! It has great links to our next topic: Ancient Greece.

  8. This week I have been reading a book called I am Malala. It is about Malala Yousafzai´s life and how she speaks out for girls education in Pakistan. I would really recommend this book to other people as it is full of drama and suspense. This book makes me feel as if we need to pay more attention so that all humans should have an equal right to an education. I predict that Malala will make her name heard all over the world after she got shot on her way home from school.

  9. Mrs Avdiu says:

She truly is inspirational and I am very glad you are reading her book. I would like to read it soon too!

  10. GOODNIGHT MISTER TOM …
Goodnight Mister Tom is the most recent book I have read and finished . I think that anyone , boy or girl should read this book if you are at least seven . To get a better understanding of what it is about , read this : When World War 2 breaks out a bruised and beaten boy , fault of his mother , is evacuated to the countryside he is relieved that he finally gets to escape his mother but Willie Beech , the boy , doesn’t know who he’ll end up with . After growing fond of Mister Tom , the man in whom he is with , he is called back to London , Deptford by his cruel mother . The biggest question for me was what does the future hold for poor Willie ! ?

  11. Mrs Avdiu says:

This was one of my favourite books in primary school 🙂

  12. Hi! This week I have been reading a book called THE BOY WHO SAILED THE OCEAN IN AN ARMCHAIR by the author Lara Williamson. The genre of this book is realistic fiction because it is about everyday life and how a 13 year old boy experiences growing up. I really liked the ending because it reunited the family and the story was told through the eyes of a child. It highlighted the importance of families. I would recommend this book.

  13. Mrs Avdiu says:

This sounds like a very moving book.

  14. Ms Robertson says:

    Hi Ayako
This sounds like a lovely book.

  15. Dear All,
This week, I am reading “Dork Diaries Puppy Love” written by Rachel Renee Russell.
It is about a girl who is changing school. Dork is so happy because the girl who is moving schools is actually the most annoying person in the world!
After school, she and her best friend went to the cupcakery.. But the most annoying girl came too.
I have read the half of the book, and I really enjoy it.

  16. Mrs Avdiu says:

It sounds great. I wonder if they end up being friends? Do let us know what you think of the ending. Is it what you expected?

  17. Ms Robertson says:

    Hi Violette
My daughter read the Dork Diaries series in year 5, and she loved them! Happy reading.

  18. Hello everyone! I am reading a book called The Star outside my Window written by O’Njali Q. Rauf. This book is about a girl whose Mum has gone missing and she believes that her mum has become a star. The girl is called Aniyah and she wants to become a astronomer so that she can see her Mum just one last time. I am really enjoying this book and I would definitely recommend this to my classmates.

  19. Mrs Avdiu says:

Wow! Sounds very interesting. Please let us know what you think of the ending.

  20. Ms Robertson says:

Aww, this book sounds a bit sad….I hope Aniyah gets reunited with her mother – let me know.

  21. Hi, this week I have been reading Gangsta Granny by David Walliams. It is about a boy who gets dropped of at his Granny’s house every Friday by his parents while they watch Strictly Dancing. He hates his granny because her TV has been broken since 1992, she reeked of cabbage and her house is stuffed of books. I am only on chapter 3 but on the front cover it makes me wonder what will happen next. I am really enjoying reading this book.

  22. Mrs Avdiu says:

That’s a fantastic book, Dylan! What do you predict will happen by looking at the front cover?

  23. Ms Robertson says:

    Hi Dylan
David Walliams is a great children’s author. I’m sure you will enjoy reading that book, right up until the end. You’ve made a great start, keep up the daily reading.

  24. I predict that the boy and Granny rob all types of shops and banks, because on the front cover they have robber masks on and sacks full of loot.

  25. Mrs Avdiu says:

    Great prediction!

  26. Yesterday I finished reading The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint Exupery and it is about a boy who lives on a tiny planet by himself with ordinary flowers and three small volcanoes. Then one day a rose seed blows on to the planet and when it becomes a flower it tells the boy who is the little prince that it is the only one of its kind. The prince then goes to earth to find out how to understand his rose and finally returns to his planet.
I would not recommend this book because there is not much of a plot/story to it.

Now I am reading The Wind in the Willows and it is much more interesting. I’ll tell you more about it when I finish.

  27. Mrs Avdiu says:

That first book sounds very interesting – it’s a shame you didn’t like it.
What do you predict will happen in the book you are currently reading?

  28. Ms Robertson says:

    Hi Zavan
I who is your favourite character in the Wind in the Willows?

  29. Mrs. Casey says:

Hello Zavan, even as a grown up I struggle to understand the meaning of The Little Prince. But I love its dreamlike watercolour illustrations and the book’s themes of loneliness and friendship. Did you know that St Exupery was himself stranded in the Sahara desert for several days? He then went on to write and illustrate The Little Prince during the Second World War, maybe that’s why it is such a sad story?

  30. Good afternoon! I hope your day has been good so far!
This week I have been reading Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix by J.K Rowling. I am really enjoying this book. I am only at the beginning of it, but I predict that Harry,Ron and Hermione go on an adventure together again. I think this because the book cover has the three of them on a magical beast. This book is really interesting so I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys reading about magic.

If you want to know what happens in the book, read this:

Dark times have come to Hogwarts (Harry’s school)After Dementors’ (horrible beasts that suck all the happiness out of you) attack on his cousin Dudley, Harry Potter knows that Voldemort (a person who hates Harry) will do nothing to find him. There are many who deny The Dark Lord’s return, but Harry is not alone: a secret order gathers at Grimmauld Place to fight against the Dark forces. Harry must allow Professor Snape (a teacher at Harry’s school) to teach him how to protect himself from Voldemort’s savage assaults on his mind. But they are growing stronger by day and Harry is running out of time…

  31. Mrs Avdiu says:

Thank you for sharing. I’m glad you are enjoying the book. Please let us know if your prediction is correct!

  32. Jeanne Frisch says:

Hi this is Jeanne . I hope you have had a great day ! During the last week I read the Letter for the King and the Song of the Seven by Tonke Dragt . They are both very good books and I would recommend them to anyone who loves adventure stories. They both have suspense parts and paragraphs full of figurative language. Tonke Dragt is a very skillful author. They are really amazing !

  33. Mrs Avdiu says:

Thank you for sharing Jeanne. Can you give us some examples of the kind of figurative language they use?

  34. Hello everyone ,

    Regarding my reading:
I don’t think they will be friends because the girl that is annoying tricked Niki by trying to make it look like she is her friend.
But I then think that Niki will go to the same school because Niki is a very intelligent girl and will also have a pupy because it’s the whole point of the story .

  35. Hello!! I just want to respond to Violette’s answer to her book.

I agree with Violette. This is because Mackenzie always plays tricks on Niki. Also, Niki might get a puppy as the book is called Puppy Love.

    Enjoy your day!!

  36. Mrs Avdiu says:

Those are logical predictions Violette and Nika! I must add this one to my reading list.

  37. Ms Robertson says:

Good prediction Violette – I think this will happen too.

  38. Hello everyone I am reading The London Eye Mystery. It is a really good book. I have almost finished it but not yet. It is about Kat and Ted brother and sister that have their cousin come over that they only met once. Salim, who is their cousin, wants to go to the London Eye so they go but in the end Salim goes up by himself and doesn’t come down for two days. They all start worrying but Ted and Kat think they are on to something. They ask themselves whatever goes up must come down mustn’t it? I would recommend this book to anyone that likes mystery and a bit of adventure mixed together.I think Salim will finally come down and go to New York by himself because that is his home town and they were supposed to go back by now. The author is Slobhan Down.

  39. Mrs Avdiu says:

Thank you for sharing Claudia- sounds like a fab book! You must let us know how you find the ending. Claudia, please check your punctuation before posting on the blog. I’ve edited your comment for you ; adding full stops and capital letters in the right places but you must make sure you do this next time so that it will be easier for everyone to read 🙂 I look forward to seeing some more comments from you!

  40. I have also been reading the Sun King.

  41. Mrs Avdiu says:

What is the Sun King about? What a great title for a book!

  42. Hi Mrs Avdiu. I have been reading a book called The Rat Burger by David Walliams. I really enjoyed reading it because in the end Zoe and her dad stopped the man from making the rats into burgers and when they made the van into an ice cream van. In some parts it made me laugh. I would recommend this book to people who like a bit of comedy and light reading.

  43. I love comedy! It sounds so funny. Thanks for sharing. Has anyone else read this book?

  44. Hi guys! I hope you are all well and having fun. I have been reading the book BEETLE BOY by M. G. Leonard. It is about a boy called Darkus, whose mom has died from an illness. After this is father disappears in a vault in the Natural History Museum. As a result he has no choice but to live with his uncle Max. Darkus makes friends in his new school and together they search for his father by putting all the clues together. I really like this book because it builds tension and the plot is exciting. I don’t want to give it away but the clue to the ending is in the title.

  45. Thank you for sharing. I’m so glad you enjoyed it!

  46. Good morning Mrs Avdiu and Miss Robertson.

I have just started reading a book called Jonathon Livingston by Richard Bach. I have just started reading it so I do not know much about it but I will tell you what I know.

Jonathan Livingston is a story about a seagull who is not like the other seagulls. Instead of trying to catch food or doing things a normal seagull would do, Jonathan spends most of his time testing out ways to fly as quick as possible. Everyday he would try different ways but he always ends up crashing to the ground. His parents are very sad and disappointed to see him like this. Jonathon sometimes considers doing what his parents tell him to do but after a while he would go back to trying out even more ways of flying! After a while his parents give up on him, but that does not stop Jonathan from achieving his goal.

  47. Thanks Tommaso! This seagull reminds me a little bit of Varjak Paw and how he always felt ‘different’ to his family! Do you remember how his family were so disappointed that he wanted to see what life was like outside of the house and how they gave up on him? It is very similar to the way your seagull is being treated in your story. Please let us know what you think of it after you’ve finished reading it!

  48. Hi Everyone,
I’ve have finished reading a book called Holes by Louis Sachar and I really enjoyed it. The book is about a boy called Stanley Yelnats who gets sent to a camp in Texas, U.S.A. called Camp Green Lake. At Camp Green Lake, Stanley has to dig up very deep holes in the hot sweltering Texas sun. Stanley makes friends with a boy called Zero and together they escape Camp Green Lake and find treasure in one of the holes. I would definitely recommend this book to other people because the author makes it an amazing experience. Personally I loved reading this book.

  49. It sounds like a fabulous book! Was there a message the author was trying to convey to the reader?

  50. Hello Everyone!!! ?

I hope your day has been amazing so far !!!

The book that I am currently reading is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
I have already read this book about a year ago but it has so many exciting parts. I decided why not read it again?

I will give just a little bit of Facts about this story since I already know what is going to happen next.

In this book Harry Potter finds out that a the Prisoner of Azkaban has escaped from the prison.
Later on in the book Dementors ( very dangerous creatures) are trying to find the prisoner so they send out the Dementors to look all over Hogwarts School of Witch Craft and Wizadry.

The Dementors are creatures that suck all the happy memories out of your soul..

I recommend this book to anyone that loves mysteries!!!!!

  51. Mrs Avdiu says:

Hi Elena. My day has been good thank you. Hope you are also okay! Thanks for sharing what you’ve been reading. I’ve heard about this book! I love a mystery story.

  52. Hi everyone,
I have finished reading a book called ‘ The Boy Who Sailed The Ocean In An Armchair ‘ by Laura Williams. The book is about a boy called Becket Rumsey:13 and his little brother Billy Rumsey:7 whose mum died when she was giving birth too Billy. when their dad has an argument with his new girlfriend:Pearl, he decided too take them with him too live in another place without pearl, when she goes shopping and she doesn’t know. They both loved pearl so much they invented a new organisation called ‘SNOOP’ which includes only them two too find pearl.

At the end of the book, Pearl gets really angry with them and she says that its Billy’s fault that their mum died but then she says that she didn’t mean it and says sorry. At the end, they don’t live with her because the children don’t like her.

It is a lot better than how I summed it up so I recommend it too anyone.

  53. Mrs Avdiu says:

Hi Marco. I’m very pleased to hear you have found and read a book you enjoyed 🙂
What a fabulous title for a story! I would love to be able to sail the ocean in my armchair right now!
Please check your spelling of ‘too’!

  54. Ms Robertson says:

    Hi Marco
Me too – I’m so glad you that you’ve finally found a book that you like! ?

  55. Hello, I just finished Alice’s adventures in Wonderland and now I am reading Black Beauty.

  56. Hello, I just finished Alice’s adventures in Wonderland and now I am reading Black Beauty.
Answering Ms Robertson’s question about the Wind in the Willows my favourite character is Mole.
Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and it’s about a girl called Alice who has a dream that she sees a white rabbit, goes into its rabbit hole, falls down a long way and ends up in Wonderland. In Wonderland, Alice has lots of adventures and when she finally gets out of it, realises that it was all a dream a dream.
I predict that Black Beauty is about the life of a horse called Black Beauty. While reading this book I realised that people have been very cruel to horses and that we should try our best to treat horses like we would to people.

  57. Mrs Avdiu says:

I love the story Black Beauty! It was one of my favourites when I was in Primary school. Hope you enjoy it 🙂

  58. Violette Thomas says:

    Hello everyone ,

I’m so glad to see you are reading lots and looking forward to more reading! Can you tell us a little bit about the books you are reading?

  60. Hi Everyone!! ?

I am currently reading The little Prince ? by Antoine De Saint – Exupery . This is a book for both children and adults alike, it is about a boy that really likes Boa Constrictors and tries to draw one but the grownups discourage him and they tell the little boy that he has far more important things to worry about in life.

I hope you all have a lovely ? day and I hope you are all well and safe.

    ~Elena ?

  61. Mrs Avdiu says:

Thank you Elena, I hope you are safe and well too 🙂
Thanks for sharing what you have been reading – sounds great! Who would you recommend it to?

  62. Hello everyone. I hope you are all well. Over the last few weeks I have read lots of books but I did not have time to write on the blog. I just wanted to say I have read Pog by Pàdraig Kenny.

The story is about a fictional creature called Pog, who gets help from two children to stop monsters from crossing the “Necessary,”- a portal into the human world. As the story develops, a huge battle begins and Pog and his new friends must find a key to shut the “ Necessary” forever. But will they make it in time to save the world?

I don’t want to give away the plot but I really recommend this book that we started as a class because it is full of action, excitement and suspense. I also discovered whether the girl is the mother 30 years later!!?

  63. Mrs Avdiu says:

Wow! I am so pleased you have read the book Pog! I am so glad you enjoyed it and hopefully more children will read it soon. Thank you for sharing 🙂

  64. Hi everyone I’m reading one of my favourite books of all time! It is called 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea by Jules Verne.

It is based in 1867 (the year of the sea monster) and is a true story. The three main characters are Professor Pierre Aronnax, friend and assistant to Pierre, Conseil and finally Ned Land the famous Canadian harpooner.

What happens is quite weird and mysterious. So Pierre, Conseil and Ned all get invited to the Abraham Lincoln (the fastest ship in the US navy at the time) to track down and kill the sea monster that everyone has been talking about.

After days of looking there has not been one glimpse of the sea monster until they see something coming towards them. It was the sea monster coming at them at great speeds…SMASH! Pierre, Conseil and Ned fall off the Abraham Lincoln and land on the Sea Monster. Weirdly the Monster is metal? Then they get dragged inside and are held prisoners in the unknown submarine. They go on many life threatening adventures with a mysterious man!

I would definitely recommend this book to all of you.
    ~Iggy

  65. Mrs Avdiu says:

Wow! It sounds awesome! Thank you for recommending it 🙂

  66. Hello everyone! I hope that you have had a very fun half – term!
A couple of months ago, I wrote that I have been reading : Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix.
I have finished that book a long time ago and now I am finishing the seventh book – Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows…

This book is extremely interesting and I would recommend it to anyone who is nine and above. Some parts of the book are a bit frightening while others are funny. Some are a bit weird while others are a bit…
    ?????????????????????????
So, as you could agree, J.K Rowling puts a lot of genres in her books so it is hard to pick which one is the best to describe it.

    *****************************************************************
As I have said, I finished the fifth Harry Potter book (Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix) and also the sixth (Harry Potter And The Half – Blood Prince.
I found these both very interesting but I do not want to say what happens as I do not want the person who is reading the books to know everything that happens before even finishing the book.

    *****************************************************************
Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows is a great book…
In the front cover, it has a picture of Harry, Voldemort, possibly Bellatrix and Lucius and all of the other Death – Eaters…
I predict that something bad happens to Harry, as in the front cover there is a picture of Voldemort shooting a curse at him…

If you want to know more about the book, read this:

‘Give me Harry Potter,’ said Voldemort’s voice, ‘and none shall be harmed. Give me Harry Potter, and I shall the school untouched. Give me Harry Potter, and you will be rewarded…’

As he climbs into Hagrid’s motorbike and takes to the skies, leaving Privet Drive for the first time, Harry Potter knows that Lord Voldemort and the Death – Eaters are not far behind. The protective charm that has kept Harry safe until now is BROKEN ?, but he cannot keep hiding. The Dark Lord is breathing FEAR into everything that Harry LOVES, and to stop him, Harry will have to find and destroy the remaining HORCRUXES. The final BATTLE must begin – Harry must stand and face his enemy…

    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………
    GLOSSARY
    ………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………

Hagrid= Rubens Hagrid is a fictional character in the Harry Potter book series written by J. K. Rowling. He is introduced in Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone as a half-giant and half-human who is the gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts, the primary setting for the first six novels.

Privet Drive = Harry Potter’s old ‘home’.

Lord Voldemort = Lord Voldemort is a sobriquet for Thomas “Tom” Marvolo Riddle, a fictional character and the main antagonist in J. K. Rowling’s series of Harry Potter novels. Voldemort first appeared in Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, which was released in 1997.
Voldemort is a half – blood – his mum is a squib and his father a muggle.

    Muggle = non-magical person.

Squib= A Squib, also known as a wizard-born, is a non-magical person who is born to at least one magical parent. Squibs are, in essence, ‘wizard-born Muggles. ‘ They are rare and are looked upon with a degree of disdain by some witches and wizards, particularly pure-bloods.

    Death – Eaters= Voldemort’s followers.

HORCRUXES= A Horcrux is an object in which a Dark wizard or witch has hidden a fragment of his or her soul in order to become immortal. Horcruxes can only be created after committing murder, the supreme act of evil.

    Have a great day, everyone!

    ~ Nika ?

  67. Mrs Avdiu says:

Yay! A Harry Potter fan! Her books are indeed fantastic. Well done and thank you for providing such a detailed insight into your reading experience 🙂

  68. Hello Everyone !

As you all may see on this blog I have written a couple of books I have read ?.

I have currently been reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows ⚡️. I have already read this books but because it is so interesting I decided to read all the Harry Potter books ? again.

I am on chapter thirty-four and there are thirty-six chapters ( if you include the part that says nineteen years later that would be another chapter).

This book is about how Dumbledore left a very important task for Harry ( finding Horcruxes) and he also goes to find them with Ron and Hermione.

Later on in the book ? there is a battle and lots of important characters die. My heart broke when I read that all these people died ?.

    I hope you all have a a lovely ? day ! ????

    ~Elena ???

  69. Mrs Avdiu says:

Another Harry Potter fan 🙂 A lot of authors have a great way of making us feel so many emotions. What was it about the author’s style of language that ‘broke’ your heart?

  70. Gabriella says:

I am reading ‘Fantastic Beasts and where to find them by Newt Scamander’
    J.K Rowling

It is a text book at Hogwarts and I find it very interesting and it makes me want to see the animals because it describes the animals so well!

I recommend this book to anyone!!!!!!!!!!??????????

  71. Mrs Avdiu says:

    It sounds awesome! 🙂

  72. Hello everyone. ??

I am reading A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
Right now, I am in the middle of the book and it is a sad part ☹.
It is about a princess called Sara who goes to a boarding school and she was treated with the most respect in there until…
Her dad dies and he left no pound or penny for her and now she is a beggar and treated like she was a horrible person. She also now lives in a dusty, abandoned attic full of rats and mice. I would recommend this book to people 6+ because it makes you think about what will happen to Sara and I don’t think people 5 and under would understand what was going on.

I hope you enjoyed reading my work. Have a lovely rest of the day! ?

  73. Mrs Avdiu says:

Aw that does sound really sad. I’m glad you are reading and enjoying what you read 🙂

  74. ✧Angieli✧ says:

Hello everyone the book that i have been reading or have read already,is Ottoline goes to School By Chris Riddell. I recommend it for ages 6+ because it’s really family friendly and it has lots of pictures that lots kids will enjoy.

    What is the book about?

The book is about Ottoline goes to school for the first time! and she meets new people and their pets/friends. The main part of the story is that Ottoline meets a new friend, named Cecily and they are more than friends. you can say that they were best friends. Because they did basically everything together and sometimes they argue about stuff that aren’t even necessary.

  75. Mrs Avdiu says:

This sounds like a brilliant book! Has anyone else read this?

  76. Hi everyone,
I am reading The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas. Before this I read Goodnight Mister Tom. It is a fantastic book and I read it in one day because it was incredibly difficult to put the book down. Both books are set in WW2 and I have found an interest in books like this. I would recommend this books for readers 10+ because it has a few difficult words therefore I think you should be at least 10. I have only just started The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas however I have already met quite a lot of characters; the maid, the servant, Bruno, Bruno’s mother, Bruno’s father and his sister. They have had to move house for his father’s job which I think is very secretive.

I hope you like these books!
    Regan

  77. Mrs Avdiu says:

I used to love books set in the war when I was younger too! What do you do when you come across difficult words? Could you give some advice to others?

The book is about a group of 4 children who decide to spend their holidays on a desert island where they meet the Amazons, a fierce tribe of pirates. The Swallows and Amazons decide to wage war and begins a summer of exciting discoveries!

    Sebastiao

  79. Mrs Avdiu says:

I am so happy you have been reading lots of books. Which one was your favourite? Thanks for the recommendations Seb!

    Hello!

My favourite was actually another book that I read on the weekend called Emil and the Detectives.

This book is about a young boy who goes on a trip to Berlin with some money in his pocket. Whilst on the train, Emil falls sound asleep and when he wakes up the money is gone! The rest of the book is about about trying to recover the money; he also meets a group of child detectives who help him get his money back. I really love this book as it is full of mystery and suspense. I would recommend this book, and let me know what you thought about it if you have read it before.

    Have a fab day!!????✨

  82. Hi everyone I am reading a fun book called ‘The 13 storey tree house’. It is about two boys called Andy and Terry, they go on big adventures and still find time to publish their book at the end. The funniest part in the book is when Terry paints their neighbours cat, silky, yellow like a canary and then drops it off the roof! The cat then grows wings and it can fly! Terry calls it a Catnary.?

  87. Hi Everyone,

On the 25th of May, I finished reading ”THERE’S A BOY IN THE GIRLS BATHROOM!” by Louis Sachar. It is about a boy called Bradley who gets bullied and no-one wanted to be his friend until a new boy called Jeff comes to the school, and with the help of Jeff and the school counsellor, he starts to get more and more friends. It is a really good book. I am now reading ”HOLES” by Louis Sachar. I have only started reading it two days ago and it was ter after the first page.
