Magic Carpet Meditation
Sit on the floor with your legs crossed. Imagine you are sitting on a magic carpet and it will take you wherever you want to go.
Close your eyes while you think of things you might see, hear and feel.
Imagine visiting your special place during each season, you might visit a farm at harvest time or the North Pole at Christmas.
Fly around the world, maybe even to the land of giants or fairy tales!
In some cultures, magic carpets are an element of traditional tales like Aladdin and One Thousand and One Nights.

I visited the Easter Bunny and went on an Easter egg hunt. I went to see God and Santa’s Gotto.

I could hear the lion voice, and it is a bit scary
I closed my eyes and drifted off to Alicante at Easter time. I watched the processions at night time with a big crowd of people and listened to the drums and trumpets and watched the beautifully decorated floats with so many candles. I also went on an Easter egg hunt and I found 4,000 Easter eggs !!
Goodness me! What a lot of Easter eggs. Do you think you could share them? When I lived in Spain I watched the Semana Santa procession in Barcelona. In Barcelona there were giant statues of Jesus being paraded through the street. I found this short video if you would like to see?

When I closed my eyes, the magic carpet brought me to a special place for me in France where I spend the summer holiday. During summer it is sunny ? and warm. I can smell the sea ? and the sand of the beach ?. I took a little train ? to visit the town or going to the market to buy vegetables ? and fishes ? ?. I went fishing ? with my sister, my brother and my daddy.

Hello, I closed my eyes and with the magic carpet I went to Frozen’s castle. It was warm because it was summer and all the snow had melted.
Hello Sibylle, I thought Elsa’s castle is made out of ice? If it was Summer in your meditation and all of the snow had melted, what was the castle made from?

Miss Savage, Thank you for sending me the Semana Santa video. That’s just like the ones we go to in Spain. I’m really going to miss them this year….I was really looking forward to seeing them again!
