Writing Hundredths
Remember that when we are looking at hundredths, to think about our place value columns. Hundredths are smaller than tenths.
In fact, ten hundredths make one tenth.
100 hundredths make 1 whole. So, if we have less than 100 hundredths we will have a decimal, like this:
We can also have decimal numbers which are greater than 1, like this:
