Good morning Year 5,
Today we will be revisiting our knowledge of factors and multiples.
It is really important that you continue to practice your times tables every day to ensure that you know them all by heart confidently. This will also help you with your maths.
Factors and multiples are different things.
But they both involve multiplication.
Factors are what we can multiply to get the number.
Multiples are what we get after multiplying the number by an integer (not a fraction).
So ALL the factors of 12 are:
1, 2, 3, 4, 6 and 12
After you have completed the MNP sheets, have a go at these extensions:

Hi Miss, I have finished the maths extension and uploaded my work. It was a little bit tricky and I just had to do it slowly and calmly and think about every number before deciding where to put it in the Venn diagram.
Regan has also completed her diagram too.
That is excellent advice for whenever we find things hard. Sometimes we just need to slow down and take a deep breath, and then we realise that we can do it!
