Workbook: 6A

Chapter: 3 Fractions

Lesson: 9 and 10-Adding and Subtracting Fractions

Good morning Year 6!

Please see the details of your lesson for today. I know we will have done some of these lessons before but it is so important to revisit and revise skills that we learnt earlier in the year!

This week we are going to focus on ‘Fractions, Decimals and Percentages’.

Today, we are revising ‘Fractions’-adding and subtracting fractions.

Absolutely! Please use the workbooks. You might have completed some of the worksheets in class already, but it is good to keep practising these skills.

  7. Hello and Good Morning.

  8. Miss Gorick says:

Good Morning Aryan 🙂 it is great to hear from you! Yes, you can do the answers in your yellow Home Learning Book.

  9. Good Morning Miss Gorick and Mrs Healy,
I have completed the maths pages set.

  10. Good morning Miss Gorick I have the math no problem books from school at home and shall be doing the questions in workbook 6A.

  11. I have done the pages:)

  12. Thanks Miss Gorick,

My mum got my MNP work book from school.

  13. I have done the pages although I had already started them from earlier on in the year, but it was great to revisit it because at first I was a little rusty but I got the hang of it and I seem to be doing well.

I didn’t do all the different peoples methods and stuck to my own as they were quite confusing and wanted to wait till I got back to school so you could go over them with me.

  14. Miss Gorick says:

Well done Nina for persevering. Definitely stick to the method that you are confident with!
