Workbook: 6A

Chapter: 2 Four Operations with Whole Numbers

Lesson: 15 and 16  Word Problems

Good morning Year 6!

Please see the details of your lesson for today. I know we will have done some of these lessons before but it is so important to revisit and revise skills that we learnt earlier in the year!

Today, we are going to focus on ‘Word Problems’.

Remember, word problems are just like puzzles!

Use the RUCSAC method when answering a problem-Read, Underline, Choose, Solve, Answer, Check!

If you would like an extension, click here!

Or have a go at the ‘Sailing Club’ Challenge! Let me know how you get on (the answers are on the 2nd page so don’t scroll down until you have had a go!)

Good luck!

Mrs Healy and Miss Gorick xx

Hi Laetitia, I’m so sorry that you’re having trouble today! I’m not sure what the problem with the animator is-I will ask the computing team.
With Maths No Problem, once you login you need to click ‘Parent guides’ and find the textbook 6A. Then you can find the lesson etc. I will post a link that will help you 🙂
