Short Ride in a Fast Machine
When listening to each piece of music I want you to
- Just listen and enjoy the music that you hear.
- Listen to it again and see if you can hear different instruments playing. Can you name the instruments? Write them down in a list.
- Tell me which piece of music you liked best and why?

I listened to The Little Train and the Short Ride in a Fast Machine.
I heard these instruments:
trombone
violin
drums
piano
I liked the Little Train music because it got faster and faster and lots of different instruments were used. It reminded me of our class assembly songs.

I preferred the second music Short Ride in a Fast Machine by John Adams, because it was interesting and the musicians were very good. ?

I could hear the maracas, drum, the trumpet and the flute in the little train music.
I liked the slow ride song because it was fast. I could hear the tuba, the drum and the pan flute.
