Good Morning, Nursery.

Well done for all of your hard work this week.

Today, all of the classes have blogs about cooking!

Do you like cooking?

What is your favourite meal?

Can you plan a meal to cook at home?

Here are some easy recipes if you need some ideas:
https://www.bbc.co.uk/food/collections/10_easy_recipes_for_kids

Don’t forget to include some fruit and vegetables!

Can you draw and label a picture of the meal you are planning?

If you are able to help to cook your meal today or at the weekend, we would love to see photos.

I am looking forward to hearing all about it.
Love from Miss Siswick.

PRINTABLE VERSION:N cooking

It would really help me if you could upload photos  straight to the media file (instructions are here: sharing photos and files) as they get to me more quickly and easily as they don’t have to go via the office and my e-mail. Please can either your child’s name or face (but not both) be visible on any photos. Many thanks.

What a great activity! I’m looking forward to seeing your photos and answers. Miss Siswick you haven’t told us your favourite meal. I know that Mrs Rekkas loves Thai food. My favourite dinner is a nice, hot chilli con carne. If you come to my house I would cook it properly and have rice. But when I am on my own own, I have it with roast potatoes. Yummy!

  4. We actually made a rhubarb crumble yesterday afternoon. Grace (and Ed) made the crumble and measured out the flour and butter and Grace helped spooning the sugar in. We needed more sugar! Grace does enjoy helping make food and her favourite dinner is sausages, mashed potato and peas!
