Good Morning, Nursery.

I hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Last week, we were learning these sounds. Practice doing the actions and saying the sounds.

You can hear the sounds here: https://www.jollylearning.co.uk/resource-bank-old/learn-the-letter-sounds/

Ask an adult to find one object in your home for each of the letter sounds c/k, e and h to write the letters  on separate pieces of paper.

Today’s task: Can you sort the objects by their beginning sound? Don’t worry if you don’t recognise the written letters yet-the focus is on hearing and saying the beginning sounds in the words.

I am looking forward to hearing about your phonics today.

Love from Miss Siswick.

P.S. Don’t forget to go to the Nursery Reading blog to tell us all about the books you’ve been enjoying.

Wow! You really have a good grasp of these sounds.
I wanted to put cake, Haribo and extremely nice sweets but I decided to be good and put cauliflower, halloumi and eggs instead. When I thought about it I realised that they are just as nice anyway. ?
