We are focussing on the sound ‘m’.
Today’s Phonics task: Practice making the ‘m’ action and saying, ‘mmmm.’
Go on a hunt in your house for things that begin with a ‘m’ sound. Practice saying them like this mmmm mouse.
Practice writing the letter ‘m’ in the air and on the table with your finger. You can also write the letter on your laminated card using a whiteboard pen or on paper using pen, crayons, paint or pencil.
I can’t wait to hear about all of the things that you found in your house that begin with the m sound.

Caspian and his sister went on the quest to find tings in the house that begin with a ‘m’.
They have found : matt, map, mum, monkey, milk, moon, mask, magnet, melon, map, mixer, McQueen, melody, motocycle, Mamba, mouse, mobile phone.
Philip says that I begin with mmmmm. But that I am “very very too big” to put on his tray. So we are now looking for “only small and wittle mmm things” !!!
Good morning, grace suggested mummy, mop, mat and milk and I added on mirror and map. She wrote some Ms and map, mat and milk.
