Our new religious education topic is ‘Good News’.  In this topic, we will be recalling the good news of Easter and learning about how the disciples shared the good news at Pentecost.

First, we will explore what ‘good news’ means and how it makes us feel.

Read the story ‘The Little Egg’ by Tanya Landman (in the attached gallery) with a grown up and think about these questions:

  • What happens to the egg in the story?
  • What was good news for the mother hen?
  • How do you think the mother hen felt?
  • Do you have any good news that you would like to share?
  • How did your good news make you feel?

  1. James’ good news at Easter was that he found lots of Easter eggs and also had school holidays so he could play more. That made him feel happy.
We couldn’t read the boom as it wouldn’t load but we talked about Easter.
