    2) up the beanstalk
    3) A giant, Jack, his mummy a, man (James initially said a king so we rewatched the story) and the hen.
    4)The Giant: the giant wanted to eat Jack. Jack said if he gets us he will eat us for his tea. The mummy: She threw the beans in the compost. Jack: He was safe. The hen was safe as well.
    5) Yes (What happens if you don’t like the story?), James asked too.
    6) It was a tiny bit scary but the rest was nice

    Where – The big troll thing in the compost.

    Who – Jack, a mum, Jack and a chicken and a troll.

    What – I don’t know what so many people is like. I know the giant is like a beast and a monster and a giant them like a chimpanzee.

    Why – Yeah because there’s a boy in it

    It took place at market and the castle.
    There was a man, Jack, Jack’s mum, the giant and the hen.
    The man tricked Jack, Jack is brave, mum is cross, the giant was hungry, cross and scary.
    I like the pictures, I like the hen, I like Jack. I am happy for Jack (why?) because he is good. Jack is brave”.

  7. It’s Jack and the beanstalk. They are in a farm, then going to the market, then in the sky and in a castle. In the story, there are Jack, his mummy, the giant and the chicken. The mummy is not happy at beginning.
    I like the story because of the way Miss Knowler speaks when she does the voice of the giant and the hen. I love the chicken. I also like that the beanstalk is growing and growing.

    The story happens in the village.

    The main characters are Jack, mommy, the wizard, the Giant, and the chicken.

    The Giant is mean. The mommy is mean and nice. The chicken, the wizard and Jack are nice.

    I like the story because Jack and the chicken get saved.

Then I went to the hub school and talked about beans with a little boy there, so now he is looking after it for me. I will check it’s progress when I go back there. Thank you Adelaide.     1. The traditional name was Jack and the beanstalk.

    2. It happen on the ground and went to the cloud .

    3. Jack and his mum , the giant and the hen who layed golden egg.

    4. I didn’t first because the giant was going to eat jack but jack was very brave after and I liked it .

  14. The story’s title is “Jack and the beanstalk”. It takes place at Jack’s house and in the giant’s castle up in the sky. The characters are brave young Jack, the cow, Jack’s mummy, the man with the magic bean, the very special hen and finally the ugly mean giant. Hermine liked the story because it is a bit scary with a happy and funny ending. It is a lovely book and it was nice hearing Mrs Knowler’s voice.

    I love Jack and the beanstalk and I love when Mrs knowler reads it.

    The main characters are Jack , the mum, « the beanstalk » and the Giant.

    The Giant is very bad and mean.
    Jack is good. The beanstalk also.

    I like the story because there is a big beanstalk bigger than mine. A@c.

  20. Hi, It’s Jack and the Beanstalk and it takes place in Jack’s garden and at the top of the beanstalk. The characters are Jack, his mum, the giant, the cow and the hen. The giant is scary, Jack is nice and his Mum is friendly. I really liked the story – we’ve read it at school – it’s funny!
