Before we start, revise all the sounds you know so far.

Say each sound out loud.

Here are the Phase Two sounds and tricky words.

Now revise the phase three sounds and tricky words.

Have a look at these words, read them and decide if they are a one syllable or two syllable word.

Watch Geraldine the Giraffe learning the ‘ure’ sound.

Have a go at writing some of the words with the ‘ure’ sound that Geraldine says.

You could try putting each word into a sentence, don’t forget your finger spaces and full stops.

If you do not know what a word means, look it up in a dictionary or ask someone in your family to help you.

Now that you have learnt the ‘ure’ sound and had a go at writing it, see if you can read it in this sentence.
