HI everyone. I am reading “A bad dog” I like the book because it is funny. The dog does bad things but as the end he did good things like getting someone because there a fire in their house! Good dog!
Oh I love a funny book! What sort of bad things did the dog do?
The funniest bad thing is when the dog came back muddy!
Oh dear, did he need a wash?
YES!!
I read Popcorn Surfing. Ant and Nok are in the story. I liked this book because I thought that it was funny when Nok was drowning in the popcorn and Ant saved him on the surfboard.
I recommend ‘Charlie Cook’s Favourite Book’ – by Julia Donaldson.
There are lots of well known characters in the book like; a pirate, Goldilocks and the three bears, a knight and a dragon, a frog, some birds, an alien, a thief, a king, a queen, a crocodile, an astronaut and a ghost.
I like the book because it has repetition and it includes lots of rhyming words.
My favourite part is when the astronaut takes a slice of the Queen’s cake to planet Jupiter.
My favourite character is Sir Percy Pilkington who tells jokes to the dragon and makes it laugh instead of fighting it.
They are all great books. Do you remember “No, I don’t want to do that!”? Well the author, Nick Cope, can be seen reading it on YouTube. And lots of other things too. Ask your grown up to help you to find it.
My mummy, daddy and I have been reading lots of Oxford Tree books. We also have Charlie Cook’s favourite book which I like very much as it has lots of different characters.

I read YOU CHOOSE by Nick Sharratt and Pippa Goodhart.
There is no story, only images. You can choose your favourite bed to sleep, shoes or hat to wear or what you like to do or what you like to do when you’re older.
My favourite is the food! I like Easter eggs, pizza, pancakes, hamburger with chips, fish, watermelon, chocolate cookies and meat.
What do you like for food?
I choose The Little Dragon by Roderick Hunt because it is a school ? book ? and I haven’t read it yet. It was about Biff, kipper, Wilmer, chip and Dad putting on a play about the little dragon. I like this book ? because Kipper was the dragon, breathing fire ? and I like dragons. My favourite part of this book is when the princess ? (Biff) pushed the Knight into the pond. My favourite character is Kipper because he is a little dragon and doesn’t scare me.
I read The Chase. It was funny. Biff and Mum went to buy Floppy a new basket. When they went to the toilet, Floppy ran off and wrecked all of the market stalls. It was funny and made me and my mum laugh.
We love reading books, we been adding new books to a library. We love books like ‘room on the broom’, ‘zog’, ‘cat in the hat’ and we are now reading ‘reading is fun with dr Seuss’ on our own! We will send more pictures soon!
Hello I read Cat in a bag and I like it because Wilf makes magic trick. It is fun!
Hello everybody ! I love reading Thomas the tank engine books. At the moment, my favorites are Characters Encyclopaedia and Movie Theatre (which includes a projector !).
My other favorite theme is Pokemon, especially Adventure on Treasure Island and Ash’s Quest.
I also enjoyed Look inside trains and Look inside an airport.
At times, I read French books with my mum and dad. There is a great one about animal footprints.
